Yankee Magazine is one of the more venerable brands in publishing. The magazine strives to capture that soul of the New England experience, and has a loyal – if aging – readership. To broaden that audience, Yankee went through a significant redesign shortly before we began working with them.
To help the rejuvenation efforts, Yankee hired us to re-imagine their advertorial, promotion and sales efforts. This includes designing sales materials for the company, and coming up with special sections, advertorials, and branded and sponsored content.
Often, these design projects demand a unique look and feel, but still need to live within the larger Yankee graphic family. They also need to be intriguing enough to stand out in the magazine, and appeal to the publication’s diverse readership.
After several years of collaboratively working with them, we’ve built a distinct family of communications. Our work helps them attract new sponsors, connect with more readers, boost sales, and make the magazine stronger in a time when many publications are struggling to stay afloat.
